1. The myth of Atlantis is pretty well defined as being related to an event that happened 9000 years before Solon, somewhere around the end of the upper dry ass. 10,500 BC.

   That's one heck of a stretch you're making to conflate this tragic situation in the 300 BC time frame with one that happened 9,000 years before then.

2. Look up some dates. Helike was drowned by the sea when Plato was in his 40’s or 50’s. So why would he invent a myth of Atlantis when he could have written of the reality of Helike?

3. I've experienced animals sensing tectonic movement before humans. I clearly remember the budgies my grandmother had chirping and flapping their wings like mad, and the dog acting very queer indeed- crying and scratching at the kitchen door until we opened it- for something like thirty seconds right before the house began to shake. It was probably the most intense earthquake I've experienced.

10. There's a fault line that runs through the Mediterranean between the African plate and the Eurasian plate.
    I'm wondering if shifts of plates may be responsible for the demise of some of these places.

11. Atlantis being lost to the ocean was around the time of the Lesser Dryas so its very possible that it was real history and that type of event could definitely swallow up a great city under water. To try and link this to a city that existed during this timeline is hilarious. I guess it gets clicks though.

12. The Illiad is not a myth….it has been countless times proven that the events in the "myth" actually happened. Of course it has been "improved" to make it more readable, same as we did in the past. However the corner stones of the "Myth" seem to be accurate.
